D.1 A MOTION TO GRANT permission to David Zoglio of Coastal Modular Homes of RI and Knowles Camp, property owner, to transport a modular home through the streets of Narragansett to 64 Burnside Avenue, Unit #87, Assessor's Plat S-1 Lot 291-87, on or around October 21, 2024, subject to local and state regulations.

 

D.2 A MOTION TO APPROVE, RATIFY, AND CONFIRM the emergency electrical repairs for the Stanton wastewater pump station completed by E.W. Audet & Sons, Inc., in amount of $8,324.79.

 

D.3 A MOTION TO APPROVE the waiver of interest for taxpayers in accordance with ordinance Section 70-90 "Waiver of interest on overdue quarterly property tax and utility payments."

 

D.4 A MOTION TO APPROVE the purchase and installation of new digital VOIP Licenses for the Police Department's recorder from Interaction Insight Corporation, in the amount of $3,863.99.

 

D.5 A MOTION TO APPROVE the annual maintenance contract for the Police Department's audio recording system with Interaction Insight Corporation, in the amount of $2,880.00.

E.1 A MOTION TO APPROVE the Police Department's request to hire one Probationary Patrol Officer.

F.1 A MOTION TO APPROVE the filling of one (1) Laborer/Maintenance Person position within the Highway Division of Public Works Department and any subsequent vacancies that arise from the filling of this position.

ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT

 

G.1 A MOTION TO AWARD the bid for Replacement Sliding Gate Operator for Water Division to the lowest bidder, Overhead Door Co. of Providence, in the amount of $13,985.00.

 

G.2 A MOTION TO AWARD the bid for the Generator Service Contract to the lowest bidder, The Lightship Group, LLC for a two (2)-year period; in the amount of $13,893.00 for 2024-25 (Year 1) and $22,398.00 for 2025-26 (Year 2) and at their hourly rates as quoted for services not covered by this preventative maintenance contract.

 

G.3 A MOTION TO SCHEDULE a work session on August 5, 2024 at 5:30PM to review and discuss alternatives for the Narrow River Dredging project.

INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY DEPARTMENT

 

H.1 A MOTION TO APPROVE the renewal of the ViewPoint/OpenGov Application Services with OpenGov, Inc. in the amount of $21,189.00.

HUMAN RESOURCES DEPARTMENT

 

I.1 A MOTION TO ADOPT the resolution establishing the proposed wages for seasonal, part-time, and temporary employees for Fiscal Year 2024-25.
